Here at Discovering Days, we can design and build any type of playground equipment you can imagine.
Because we design and build everything in house, we are not constrained by complicated manufacturing processes or stubborn materials. If you have the imagination to think of it, we have the skills to build it – we promise!
Standard products are great, but they don’t always meet specific requirements. This is where bespoke playground equipment comes in.
We can create a high-quality, one-off product especially for your school or nursery. And it won’t cost you the earth!
Bespoke Playground Equipment Design
You may have a design already in mind. Sometimes the wackiest of ideas can turn into great play equipment for children. It’s all about what makes children light up. So, if you want to turn your idea into a reality, get in touch with us.
Many of our customers ask for a variation on a standard piece of playground equipment.
Different Size, Shape, More Units
You may just require a larger or smaller size, a different shape or more units. Or you may want it painting in a certain colour or even engraved. Perhaps you have another variation in mind – let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

Every one of our crafted wooden products is made from sustainable Scandinavian Redwood and each piece of timber is always treated with heat and pressure, instead of using harsh chemicals.
This allows the wood to withstand any damage by insects, the legendary British weather, and of course enthusiastic children playing on them.
All of our wooden playground equipment is made locally at our workshop in Burnley and each piece of timber is sanded and smoothed to ensure that children can’t damage or tear any clothing as they are playing.
