Buddy benches were originally invented to combat loneliness and shyness in children.  They are provided in schools to signal to others when a child sits on the bench that they are feeling lonely and need a friend to play with, and/or someone to talk to.

Hand made in our Workshop in Lancashire from responsibly sourced Scandinavian Redwood it is safely treated so is able to withstand the harshest weather, and attack by insects, so is very durable and will last for many years to come. We recommend the bench is treated annually with wood preserver to maintain.
