The Discovering Days Double armed freestanding wooden balance scales are ideal to help children understand about volume, weight and balance.
The Balance scales inspire curious minds to investigate how they work using water, stones, sand, balls or anything they might have to hand in the outside play area , but can also be used inside using dry materials such as balls, sand and marbles.
They can be used two ways with the wooden trays as in the pictures, but the slotted arms at the top can also be used with buckets and hanging jars.
The Balance scales are made from naturally sourced sustainable Scandinavian Redwood that is hardy and long lasting, that has also been treated with Tanalith-E preservatives and therefore, can sustain attack from the weather, insects and children.
Recommended to be placed on a flat even surface.
